Keynote: Dr. Amy Rossomondo
Bio: Amy Rossomondo is an Associate Professor in the Department of Spanish and Portuguese at the University of Kansas. Her principal areas of research are second language acquisition, the intersection of second language pedagogy and technology, and language teacher development. She currently holds the Chancellor’s Club Teaching Professorship and serves as the President of the American Association of University Supervisor and Coordinators and Language Program Directors (AAUSC). She is also the creator and director of Acceso, an open access, Web-based platform for intermediate-level Spanish studies that structures critical exploration of the culturally diverse Spanish-speaking world. Her most recent project with coauthor Gillian Lord (University of Florida) is Contraseña (Lingro Learning 2018, 2022), the first native digital learning program for Elementary Spanish.
