IMPORTANT SEAL OF BILITERACY NOTICE:
The Nebraska International Languages Association will be transitioning the Seal of Biliteracy to the Nebraska State Department of Education. With this, all applications have stopped being accepted and applications will begin being accepted by the Nebraska< Department of Education beginning January 1, 2020.
If you've already applied, but have not paid or your teacher has not verified your scores from your tests, that must be done by November 15, 2019.
After that date, all applications will be considered void and you'll need to apply to the Nebraska Department of Education in 2020.

STATE OF NEBRASKA SEAL OF BILITERACY
The SEAL OF BILITERACY is an award given to students who have attained proficiency in English and at least one other language by high school graduation. Appearing on the transcript of the graduating senior, the SEAL OF BILITERACY is a statement of accomplishment for gaining competency in two or more languages and is viewed as an asset when applying for a job or for college admission.
