The Nebraska International Languages Association is calling for proposals for our 2020 Fall Conference. This will be the first all-digital, all virtual NILA Fall Conference, and we're excited to have you present to educators across the state and region!
The 2020 Nebraska International Language Association Conference invites proposals for 50-minute VIRTUAL sessions on a variety of topics. All sessions will be delivered via a virtual platform (Zoom). If you are unfamiliar with Zoom, there will be a short training available for all presenters before the conference.
The theme of this year's conference is:
Believe, Achieve: Biliteracy! It is for everyone!
The NILA Fall Conference will take place virtually on
Saturday, October 3, 2020. Specific details and a schedule will be published closer to the date of the conference.
All proposals are due to NILA no later than Monday, June 1, 2020 (deadline has been extended).
Presenters will be notified over the summer if the proposal is
accepted. All presenters must still register for the NILA conference: this form does not serve as a formal registration.
Registration will be available online in late June.
